Good businesses should invite scrutiny of their practices from all concerned. At LMRC, we have always demanded of ourselves that we abide by the highest standard of care for our patients. Our inpatient programs are annually inspected by the Washington State Department of Health, and our outpatient programs are certified by the Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery in the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services. Seeking even higher standards, we have been accredited by CARF since 1990. Executives in our management team have served on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers since 1987. NAATP is dedicated to maintaining among its members the highest standards for addiction treatment. If you have any questions about our services or their licensure, we invite your inquiries (see contacts).
Lakeside-Milam Recovery Centers holds licenses granted by the following Washington State agencies:
Accredited by CARF since 1990
Excerpts from letter received by CARF’s President/CEO regarding confirmation of accreditation:
“This achievement is an indication of your organization’s dedication and commitment to improving the quality of the lives of the persons served. Services, personnel and documentation clearly indicate an established pattern of practice excellence.”
“Your organization should take pride in achieving this high level of accreditation. CARF will recognize this accomplishment in its listing of organizations with accreditation, and we encourage you to make this accomplishment known throughout your community. Communication of this award to your referral and funding sources, the media, and local and federal government officials will promote and distinguish your organization.”
Letter from Ronald J. Hunsicker, President/CEO of NAATP:
“Lakeside-Milam Recovery Centers has been a valuable member of the National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers since 1987. As the largest addiction treatment provider in the Northwest, Lakeside-Milam has provided the association with valuable insight into the state of the art of chemical addiction treatment as well as providing leadership in the campaign to raise the awareness of state and national legislatures to the impacts of addiction on our economy.
We have valued Lakeside’s integrity and leadership so much that we have asked their executives to serve on the board of NAATP. During the early 1990’s Tom Armstrong, Senior Vice President of Lakeside, served two terms on our board as did past President Charles Kester. Lakeside-Milam’s current President, Carlton M. Kester, is serving his fourth term as a board member.
Lakeside-Milam Recovery Centers is an integral part of the National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers in its efforts to promote the highest quality of care for suffering addicts across the country.”
